As part of a project/social experiment, I am going to be doing a week long Deaf experience. I will be wearing earplugs and taking a one week vow of silence. While I'm a little nervous about how this is going to go, I'm also looking forward to the eye-opening experiences I'll be having. I hope that this will enhance my understanding of Deaf culture and what it is like to be Deaf in a hearing society.
